Geiser is an established Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who continues to provide exceptional care and support to her patients within her own private practice located in East Northport, New York. She is also affiliated with Northport VA Medical Center, Huntington Hospital, and Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center. Featuring over four decades of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in nursing education, coronary care, emergency room nursing, and psychiatric nursing.
Patricia’s career in nursing began in 1976, when she graduated with her Nursing Diploma. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to earn her Master of Science Degree in Nursing with a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner concentration in 1990 from Adelphi University. Since graduating, she has completed a number of advanced training courses, furthering her knowledge and expertise.
To keep current with the new developments and guidelines in nursing, Patricia is a distinguished member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the Professional Nurses Associates. She is determined to enhance his patients’ quality of life, providing high quality, individualized care in order to ensure the most optimal results. Alongside her clinical work, Patricia also serves as a Student Mentor at Molloy College and Child Abuse Awareness Trainer at Northport VA Hospital. She attributes her success to the support of her husband, and when she is not assisting patients, Patricia likes to relax by painting.
