Karen Jacqueline Augustine is an established Registered Nurse who continues to provide exceptional care and support to her patients within the John Randolph Medical Center in Hopewell, Virginia. Featuring over three decades of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in critical care and nursing management.
Karen’s career in nursing began in 1983, when she graduated with her Nursing Degree from Kaplan University. An advocate for pursuing further education, she remained within Kaplan University, earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2009 and her Master of Science Degree in Nursing in 2013. Karen has completed a number of advanced training courses, and is also a Certified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse.
Karen is determined to enhance her patients’ quality of life, providing high quality, individualized care in order to ensure the most optimal results. She is committed to keeping current with the new developments in nursing, and is the recipient of numerous awards and honors for her contributions to her field. Karen attributes her success to the support of her family, as well as her desire to advance in her career. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and being active with church activities.
