Dr. Phillips’ acclaimed career in medicine began in 1986, when she graduated with her Medical Degree from the Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago in the Dominican Republic. After medical school, she completed her internship with the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. Dr. Phillips completed extensive residency training at the University Medical Center Southern Nevada, the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and the LAC+USC Medical Center. Pursuing advanced medical training, Dr. Phillips undertook her fellowship training at Loma Linda University.
Dr. Phillips is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, and she remains a distinguished member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the California Society of Anesthesiologists. She is determined to enhance her patients’ quality of life, providing high quality, individualized care in order to ensure the most optimal results. Dr. Phillips attributes her success to coming from a family of ten doctors, as well as her strong interest in health, wellness, and improving her patients’ lives. When she is not working, she enjoys working out, going to the gym, swimming, horseback riding, tennis, golf, and music.
