With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Liz McKenzie, RN, BN, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. Liz is a Rural Remote Nurse with over four decades of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing. Liz is currently serving patients in Barcaldine, Queensland, Australia.
Liz McKenzie’s career in nursing began when she graduated from Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, becoming a registered nurse, and Toowoomba Hospital, becoming a registered midwife. An advocate for continuing education, Liz went on to gain her Bachelor Degree in Nursing from the University of Southern Queensland. Liz attributes her success in her field to keeping current in her field, which she does by reading the Queensland Nurses Union. When she is not assisting her patients, Liz enjoys traveling, as well as taking care of sheep and cattle on her property.
