Linda Fortner Burke is a Registered Nurse with 48 years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially public health. Linda is currently serving patients within Kentucky Department for Public Health in Frankfort, Kentucky and is also affiliated with the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
Linda Fortner Burke’s career in nursing began in 1968 when she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Kentucky. An advocate for continuing education, Linda went on to obtain her Master’s Degree in Nursing in 1970 from Emory University. To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in her field, Linda maintains a professional membership with the American Nurses Association and the Kentucky Nurses Association. She attributes her success throughout nearly five decades of experience to her mother. When she is not assisting patients, Linda enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling.
