She is a highly trained and qualified dentist with expertise in all facets of her work, especially family dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, pediatric dentistry and oral surgery. Dr. Milne has been in practice for over two years and is currently serving patients at Edgewater Dental in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada.
Dr. Milne received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2014 from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. She previously obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at The University of Western Ontario, and her Master degree in Integrative Biology at Wilfrid Laurier University. Furthermore, Dr. Milne holds board certification from the National Dental Examination Board, and maintains a professional membership with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons, the Ontario Dental Association, and Academy of General dentistry.
Dr. Milne was inspired to practice dentistry by the satisfaction she gets when she improves a patient’s smile, thereby increasing their confidence and overall quality of life. Dr. Milne is an active volunteer in her community and has also spent one summer in Korea teaching kids aged 7-13 English and Biology. She tries to make a difference by listening to her patients’ needs and working with them to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to each individual. Dr. Milne is great at communicating with patients about treatment goals, possible outcomes and describes all alternative treatment options to ensure the patient can make a decision on their treatment. Dr. Milne encourages patients to actively participate in their treatment and helps motivate them to achieve optimal oral health.
Dr. Milne attributes her success to her father who is an orthodontist. She has worked in the field at her father’s office for ten years learning the practice of orthodontics from bottom to top. Dr. Milne has always had a passion for helping people and loves working in a team. Dr. Milne has an artistic eye for dental aesthetics and a big heart for caring about her patients, ensuring they receive high quality treatment. When she is not assisting patients, Dr. Milne enjoys skiing, boating, and soccer.
