The Gasparilla Interactive Conference will feature product designers from Facebook and BuzzFeed, two Forbes 2016 30 Under 30 winners, two best selling authors with stories of disruptive ideas and entrepreneurial inspiration.

Product designers Gabe Valdivia of Facebook and Alison Chefec of BuzzFeed will present on careers and organizational growth respectively as well as participate a discussion on information architecture moderated by Amy Espinosa organizer of Tampa’s World IA Day.
Entrepreneurial inspiration is prominent throughout the two days featuring Taylor Pearson, an entrepreneur and author of The End of Jobs; Jorge Brea, CEO of Symphonic Distribution and Phil Michaels of Tembo. Inc.com rated The End of Jobs one of the Top Three ‘Start Your Own Business’ Books of 2015 and a Top 25 Business Book of 2015. Symphonic Distribution, a digital music distribution service, has distributed over 300,000 releases of over 7,000 record labels and 15,000 artists around the globe and paid out over 8 million in royalties. Tembo educates children in slums around the world using mobile phones whose founders were recognized in Forbes 30 Under 30 list for social entrepreneurship.
Returning to the Gasparilla Interactive stage is Savannah Peterson, now director of innovation strategy, at Speck Design and a 2016 Forbes 30 Under 30 in Consumer Technology and known voice in the hardware space.

The conference will be held in Historic Ybor City on Thursday and Friday, March 10th and 11th 2016 at the Hillsborough Community College’s Ybor City Campus, Mainstage Theatre and Performing Arts Building.
