Dr. Tobias’ acclaimed career in medicine began in 2000, when he graduated with his Medical Degree from Brown University School of Medicine in Providence, Rhode Island, receiving honors in neurosurgery and pediatric neurosurgery. Thereafter, he completed an internship in General Surgery and residency in Neurosurgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York, serving as Chief Resident. Pursuing advanced medical training, Dr. Tobias undertook his Pediatric Neurosurgery fellowship at the LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center and St. Jude’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Dr. Tobias is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, and he remains a distinguished member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the New York Society of Neurosurgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. In addition to his clinical practice, he serves as Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery and Pediatrics in the Department of Neurology at New York Medical College. He is renowned as one of New York’s top pediatric neurosurgeons, treating a wide range of conditions, and has been published extensively for his wealth of experience. In his free time, Dr. Tobias enjoys sailing, basketball, going to the movies, and playing the harmonica.
