To stay current with the latest advances in medicine, Dr. DeSouza remains a distinguished member of the American Medical Association, the National Medical Association, Broward County Medical Association, the Florida Obstetric and Gynecologic Association, the James Sistrunk Medical Association, the Women Physicians of South Florida and the Society of Laparoscopic Endoscopy. She performs national public lectures on behalf of Warner Chilcott Pharmaceuticals, and for her excellence has been recognized as a Top Doctor from 2005 to 2016. She attributes her success to her compassion and love for people and striving to make her patients comfortable, as well as informing, listening, and teaching her patients.
