The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Tammy L. Dykes, RN, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Tammy L. Dykes is an established Registered Nurse currently serving patients within Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia. Featuring over three decades of experience in nursing, she is a specialist pediatric and infection control nurse, as well as an experienced nurse educator.
Tammy gained her Nursing Diploma in 1984 from the Georgia Baptist College of Nursing in Atlanta, becoming a Registered Nurse. She has since completed a number of training courses while practicing as a nurse, and holds additional certifications in Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Tammy has a wealth of experience in many fields of nursing, including infection control and being an employee nurse. She is the recipient of a coveted Daisy Award, and attributes her success to her compassionate attitude and on her focus upon her patients and their families. When she is not assisting patients, Tammy enjoys reading, hiking, and outdoor activities.
