Lowman, RN, BS, MS, CRNA, APRN, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders In Healthcare. Sheryl A. Lowman is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Monroe, Connecticut. Featuring over 18 years of experience in nursing, she is a specialist in anesthesia and also an expert travel, pediatrics and critical care nurse.
Sheryl A. Lowman gained Bachelor of Science Degree in 1984 at the University of Bridgeport, and in 1998 became a Registered Nurse after completing her Nursing Degree from Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing in Bridgeport, Connecticut. After advanced training in Bridgeport she became a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. Sheryl also holds a Master of Science degree from the Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven.
Sheryl is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, the American Society of Hematology, and the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. She is the recipient of many awards, including a Pediatrics Award and First Class Gas Anesthesia Award. She attributes her success to the education she received at Bridgeport Hospital, and to her passion for nursing, which she sees as a vocation rather than merely a career. When not working, Sheryl enjoys photography, and she is also a volunteer for the American Red Cross and the American Heart Association.
