Merry Christine Blantz is a Family Nurse Practitioner with more than four decades of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially cardiology, family medicine, and diabetes. She is currently serving patients within the University of California, San Diego Shiley Eye Institute in Del Mar, California.
Merry’s career in nursing began in 1972, when she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing the University of California, San Diego. After completing advanced post-graduate training, she is now a Family Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Merry has worked in many fields of nursing throughout her long and successful career, and in increasingly senior positions. To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in her field, she maintains a professional membership with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. When she is not assisting her patients, Merry enjoys Rhodesian Ridgebacks, playing scrabble, gardening, and walking.
