Distinguished Nursing Supervisor Denise M. Chaney, DNP, MSN, RN, CCRN, will be Highlighted in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Denise M. Chaney, DNP, MSN, RN, CCRN, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Denise M. Chaney is a Nursing Supervisor with 42 years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially leadership, management, and critical care nursing. Dr. Chaney is currently serving patients within Veterans Health Administration Medical Center in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Dr. Denise M. Chaney gained her initial Nursing Degree in 1975 from the Tyler County Hospital School of Nursing, followed by her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from San Jacinto College. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to complete her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and Master of Science Degree in Nursing, both from Wheeling Jesuit University. In 2011, her Doctorate of Nursing Practice was gained from Chatham University, followed by her Doctor of Education Degree five years later from Creighton University. She holds additional certification as a Certified Critical Care Nurse.

An inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Dr. Chaney keeps up to date with the latest advances in her field by maintaining a professional membership with the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. For her wealth of experience and knowledge, she is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions. She attributes her success to her mother, Dolores Lovett, and her sister, Chief Judge Bobbie McCartney, who have been a great source of support for her. In her free time, Dr. Chaney enjoys gardening, swimming, and caring for her cat and two dogs.
