With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Linda C. Richardson-Beaird, MA, APRN, CNS, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Association of HealthCare Professionals. Since 1991, Linda has had her own solo private psychotherapy practice. She offices in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, and has more than four decades of experience in her field. Linda offers a unique combination of psychiatric counseling expertise and formal education as a registered nurse, which has allowed her to aid a wide variety of patient issues.
Linda received her diploma from St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Rochester, Minnesota in 1969. She received her (BAS) Bachelor of Applied Studies in Group Work and Mental Health from the University of Minnesota and her MA (Master of Arts) in Counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary’s University in Minneapolis. Linda is an APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) as well as board certified as an Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist. She received two years of yoga training and she uses the elements of yoga, breathwork, and healing methods with her some of her clients during private sessions. Linda remains a member of the American Nurses Association and Minnesota Women in Psychology.
She attributes her successful psychotherapy career to her educational background, her wonderful mentors, and her passion for helping others. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, pickleball, cross country skiing, gardening, traveling, and yoga, as well as spending time with family and friends.
