Simonson, MD, Radiologist, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in The Leading Physicians of the World. She is a highly trained and qualified radiologist with an extensive expertise in all facets of her work, especially musculoskeletal radiology and orthopedic radiology. Dr. Simonson has been in practice for over 14 years and is currently serving patients at Cambria Somerset Radiology in Montgomery and Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Furthermore, she is affiliated with Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
Dr. Simonson’s career in medicine began in 2002 when she graduated with her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Simonson also completed her General Surgery internship at Boston University Medical Center, before her postdoctoral research fellowship at Harvard Medical School. After her research fellowship, Dr. Simonson went on to undertake her Diagnostic Radiology residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania followed by fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Simonson is certified by the American Board of Radiology, and maintains a professional membership with the American College of Radiology, and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society- Georgia Chapter.
For her excellence, she is the recipient of the Society of Interventional Radiology Resident Scholarship, a Regents Opportunity Merit Scholarship, and the Peacock Family Award for Outstanding Performance in Gross Anatomy. She attributes her success to the love and passion she has for the field, and the support from her husband and family. When she is not assisting patients, Dr. Simonson dedicates her free time to painting, skiing, running half marathons and triathlons, and spending time with her family.
