The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Heden Presendieu, FNP to their respected organization with his upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Heden is a Family Nurse Practitioner with an extensive expertise, currently working with Health Care District and Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth, Florida. With four years of experience in his field, Heden stands out amongst others for listening to his patients and taking his time when performing physical examinations.
Heden is a physician by training in his native country of Haiti, before receiving his Nursing Degree from Florida International University in 2013. An advocate for continuing education, he also received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and his Master Degree in Nursing from the same educational venue. For his excellence, Heden received the BSN Louis Blanchard Nursing Scholarship in 2011, the MSN Health Foundation of South Florida Scholarship Award in 2012, and the PhD LBR Scholarship in 2013.
Heden belongs to several professional societies, including HonorSociety.org, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society (Pi Alpha Chapter), Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society, Golden Key International Honor Society, the American Nurses Association, and the Association of Haitian Physicians Abroad. Heden attributes his success to his family, his teachers, self-study, and the desire to learn every single day in order to help people. Heden speaks English, French, Spanish, and Creole, and when he is not assisting patients enjoys jogging, playing tennis, and going to the beach.
