Leading Anesthesiologist, Richard W. Blomberg, MD, will Have His Outstanding Achievements Featured in The Leading Physicians of the World

He is a highly-trained and qualified anesthesiologist with expertise in all facets of his work, including ultrasound guided nerve blocks. Dr. Richard W. Blomberg has been practicing for more than 31 years and is an anesthesiologist at South Valley Anesthesia PA and is affiliated with St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee, MN and Minnesota Valley Surgery Center in Burnsville, MN where he functions as the medical director.

Dr. Richard W. Blomberg earned his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1985 at the University of Iowa’s Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver School of Medicine in Iowa City. An internship followed at Mercy Medical Center where he also completed his anesthesia residency before entering private practice.

Dr. Blomberg is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, and he is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists. He relishes hearing each patient’s story and one of his favorite things to do is place labor epidurals. In 2016 he received the Touchstone Award from the medical staff at St. Francis Regional Medical Center as their physician of the year. Dr. Blomberg is also a published fiction author.
