National PR Firm, The Publicity Agency’s client Yank Barry, co-founder of the nonprofit Global Village Champions Foundation (GVCF), was on Fox News Channel’s “America’s News Headquarters” discussing his efforts saving refugees in the Middle East.
Speaking on Sunday, March 30 with anchor Eric Shawn, Barry talked about the refugee crisis in countries like Syria, Iraq and Iran while criticizing outside governments for doing little to help refugees who’ve escaped with little else but their lives.
“Individuals need to group together because they [are the ones] making a difference, governments are moving much too slowly,” stated Barry, a three time Nobel Peace Prize Nominee for his humanitarian efforts around the world. “I just wish some country would decide to open their doors on people who are educated, have security clearance, and ran away because they were going to be killed.”

Through his nonprofit GVCF, Barry has assisted thousands of refugees by providing the largest Bulgarian refugee camp with food and other supplies. Furthermore, the world-renowned philanthropist has personally housed refugees in former hotels in Bulgaria, supplying food, medicine and clothing.
Barry has made a fortune as CEO of Vitapro, a leader in the production of soy. The company also produces ProPectin, a pure, pharmaceutical-grade and soluble apple pectin that flushes the body of toxins. Studies have shown it to offer other benefits. It is effective at lowering blood glucose and insulin levels as well as maintaining healthy cholesterol levels.
Global Village Champions Foundation also helps the refugees assimilate into Bulgarian society and begin a new life with language and job training.
“As Fox’s anchor Eric Shawn said, ‘one man can make a difference,’ and that is exactly what Yank Barry is doing,” says Glenn Selig, president and founder of the national PR firm, The Publicity Agency. “His story is truly amazing and one we are happy could be told to hundreds of thousands of viewers.”
