Upon receiving her Medical Degree, she completed an Orthopedic Surgery residency at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas, before undertaking her Orthopedic Surgery/Sports Medicine fellowship at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dr. Johnson is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and maintains a professional membership with the Ruth Jackson Orthopedic Society, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and the Louisiana Medical Society. She is particularly renowned as an expert in the treatment of sports injuries, and works as a physician with the Covington High School football team. When not working, Dr. Johnson enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with her family and friends.
