The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Susan Browning, LPN, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Susan is an established Licensed Practical Nurse with an extensive expertise in all facet of nursing, especially pulmonary care. Susan is currently serving patients within the University of Pulmonary & Critical Care in Knoxville, Tennessee and is also affiliated with the University of Tennessee Medical Center, also in Knoxville.
Susan’s career in nursing began in 1996 when she graduated from the Tennessee Technology Center at Knoxville. An advocate for continuing education, she is currently pursuing her Bachelor Degree in Health Care Administration at Kaplan University, with a projected graduation in 2018.
To stay current in her field, Susan remains an active member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, the Golden Key International Honour Society, the Society for Collegiate Leadership and Achievement, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She attributes her success to her perseverance, her drive to keep fighting as she faced a battle with cancer, and the motivation she gets from making a difference in her patient’s lives. When she is not working, Susan enjoys riding motorcycles, shooting sports, reading, and caring for her family and loved ones.
