Dr. Sherman’s career in medicine began in 2006 when she graduated from the Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine. Upon earning her Medical Degree, she completed her residency in orthopedic surgery at the Mayo School of Graduate Education, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident. She remained at Mayo to undertake her fellowship training in orthopedic oncology. Dr. Sherman is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions for her achievements, and has been published extensively.
To stay current with the latest advances in her field, Dr. Sherman maintains professional memberships with several organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the International Musculoskeletal Society, the American Medical Association, the Ohio State Medical Association, and the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association. Dr. Sherman attributes her success to the inspiration from her father, and when she is not assisting patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, traveling, and swimming.
