Wong is an established Ophthalmologist who continues to provide exceptional care and support to his patients within The Princeton Eye Group in New Jersey. He is also affiliated with the Wills Eye Hospital. Featuring over three decades of experience in his field, he has a special expertise in comprehensive ophthalmology, LASIK surgery, and refractive and cataract surgery.
Dr. Wong’s career in medicine began in 1979, when he graduated with his Medical Degree from the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. After medical school, he completed his Internal Medicine residency with Thomas Jefferson University, followed by his Ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Wong is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
To stay current with the new developments, guidelines, and procedures in his field, Dr. Wong remains a distinguished member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is involved with training residents and medical students at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and has had a primary role in developing the Wills Laser Vision facility. Dr. Wong has volunteered with the Surgical Eye Expeditions in China, and attributes his success to his passion for his patients, as well as the support of his wife. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis and golf.
