Dr. Thomas’ acclaimed career in medicine began in 1991, when he graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. After medical school, he completed his internship with Tulsa Regional Medical Center. Pursuing advanced medical training, he undertook additional postgraduate training at a number of locations including Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Schneider’s Children’s Hospital, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York College of Osteopathic, North Shore University Hospital, and New York University. Driven to further his knowledge and skills, Dr. Thomas completed his Spine fellowship with the University of Miami. Dr. Thomas is certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Surgeons with a Neurosurgical discipline, and is also certified with the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners.
To stay current with the latest advances in his field, Dr. Thomas remains a distinguished member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and the Florida Medical Association. He has performed a variety of procedures and has created a number of videos to teach medical students at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences. Dr. Thomas has dedicated his life to delivering the highest standard of quality care to his patients of all ages, and strives to provide the best outcomes possible. With a passion for enhancing his patients’ quality of life, he spends his free time mountaineering, playing golf, snow skiing, and fly fishing.
