Specialist Family Nurse Practitioner, Elizabeth Morton, MS, FNP-BC will be Presented in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Elizabeth Morton, MS, FNP-BC to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Elizabeth Morton is an established Family Nurse Practitioner who continues to provide exceptional care and support to her patients. She presently works for United Health Group/Optum in Missouri. Featuring over four decades of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in psychiatric nursing, working with veterans, adult and pediatric oncology, and home infusion. She is determined to enhance her patients’ quality of life, providing high quality, individualized care in order to ensure the most optimal results.

Elizabeth’s career in nursing began in 1977, when she graduated Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to earn her Master of Science Degree in Nursing with an Advanced Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from St. Louis University in Missouri. Passionate about working with military families, Elizabeth is currently pursuing her degree as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

Elizabeth is a distinguished member of the American Nurses Association, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Psychiatric Nurses Association, the National Association of Hispanic Nurses, and the National Military Family Association. She is passionate about empowering those who are underserved, leading her to play a role in the development of a Hispanic outreach program for victims of domestic violence at one of the city hospitals in St Louis.

Elizabeth attributes her success to her faith in Jesus Christ, compassion for others, and most importantly, to the support and encouragement she receives from her daughters. She is also inspired and motivated by her husband, who displays resilience and courage everyday as he serves in the Middle East. In her free time, Elizabeth loves spending time with her family, especially her grandson Dayne, as well as being outdoors and doing arts and crafts.
