Deirdre Ryan, MD, pediatric orthopedist at Children’s Orthopedic Center, and affiliated with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, has been named a 2016 Top Doctor in Los Angeles, California. Board certified in Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Ryan has become renowned as a specialist in providing orthopedic surgery for infants and children. As such she carries out a wide range of procedures for conditions such as cerebral palsy and spina bifida. She is also known as an expert in the treatment of angular deformities of the lower limbs, and in the treatment of limb length discrepancies, as well as treating traumas and fractures, and a variety of neuromuscular diseases.
Dr. Ryan is noted for her caring and compassionate approach to medicine, and she keeps up to date with the latest advances in her field though her active membership of many professional organizations. These include the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeons of North America, and the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine.
