Dr. Cynthia D. Owens is a very highly experienced internist, having been in practice for more than 36 years. Her long and successful medical career began in 1979, when she graduated from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, prior to entering private practice. She is now a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and of the American College of Osteopathic Internists.
Dr. Owens is board certified in Geriatric Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Hospital Medicine,, and is renowned as an expert hospitalist. As such she treats a very wide range of conditions, particularly those relating to senior citizens. These range from pancreatitis, vertigo, strokes, and pneumonia, to heart disease, anemia, urinary tract infections, and bronchitis.
She has earned the coveted titles of Fellow of the American College of Physicians and Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists.With such a wealth of experience to her name, Dr. Owens is a physician very much in demand.
