Dr. Kotowicz is a distinguished member of the Australian and New Zealand Bone and Mineral Society, the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research, the International Federation of Musculoskeletal Research Societies, the International Osteoporosis Foundation, the European Calcified Tissue Society, the Endocrine Society, the Australian Diabetes Society and the Endocrine Society of Australia. He is also currently Chair of the Therapeutics Committee of the Australian and New Zealand Bone and Mineral Society. He has published over 180 journal articles and has conducted six research trials on male and female osteoporosis, and attributes his success to working with a strong team and his ability to maintain impossible hours.
