The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Lynda Weatherly, FNP-BC, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Lynda Weatherly is a Nurse Practitioner who has served patients as a nurse educator within Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee. With more than two decades of experience in nursing, she is a specialist geriatrics and adult health care nurse.
Lynda gained her initial Nursing Degree in 1980 from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. An advocate for continuing education, she later gained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and then Master of Science Degree in Nursing from the Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, becoming a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Alongside her work at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, Lynda was also affiliated with Brownsville Family Medicine, Brownsville, Tennessee. She has a wealth of experience in many areas of nursing, and remains a professional member of the American Nurses Association and the Tennessee Nurses Association. Lynda attributes her success to her dedication, as well as her emphasis on setting goals and then achieving them. In her free time, Lynda enjoys sewing, photography, and spending time with her grandchildren and her Yorkie dogs.
