Upon receiving her Medical Degree and relocating to the United States, she completed her residency at Hurley Medical Center, prior to her fellowship training in rheumatology at Michigan State University and Detroit Medical Center, Sinai Hospital. She is board certified in both Rheumatology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in her field, Dr. Pop-Moody remains a distinguished member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Rheumatologists, and the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Pop-Moody earned the distinction of “Super Doctor” by Texas Monthly for the past three years, was awarded America’s Top Physician in 2006 and 2007 by the Consumer Research Council of America, and was listed in Presidential Who’s Who in 2008 and 2009. She attributes her success to her willingness to help her patients and loving what she does for a living.
