He then went on to complete internships at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus and at the Northwestern University Medical Center Feinberg School of Medicine, before undertaking his fellowship at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Saint Louis University in Missouri.
Dr. Ryan is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is renowned as an expert in the treatment of conditions and diseases relating to the retina. He also earned the coveted title of Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. When he is not assisting patients, he is a keen skier and enjoys running and bicycling.
