The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Barbara Jean Bragdon, RN, BSN, CCRN, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Barbara Jean Bragdon is a Registered Nurse with more than 20 years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially nurse education and critical care. Barbara is currently serving patients as Director of Nursing currently within the medical/surgical unit at Maine Memorial Hospital in Ellsworth, Maine.
Barbara Jean Bragdon obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Maine in Orono. An advocate for continuing education, she is currently pursuing her Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Walden University. She holds additional certification as a Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse.
Alongside her work as a registered nurse and nursing director, Barbara also works as a nurse educator who is passionate about helping others learn in a positive environment. She attributes her success to the colleagues and mentors who have helped her throughout her career. When not serving patients, Barbara enjoys participating in volunteer work for her local fire department and is involved in a number of community organizations.
