He is a highly trained and qualified hematologist and oncologist with an extensive expertise in all facets of his work. Dr. Ajovi Blessing Scott-Emuakper has been in practice for more than 40 years and is currently working within Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. He is also affiliated with Hillsdale Community Health Center.
Dr.Scott-Emuakper graduated with his Medical Degree in 1976 from the University of Michigan. Following his graduation, he completed his internship, residency and then fellowship at the State University of Michigan. Dr. Scott-Emuakper holds an additional Doctor of Philosophy Degree.
Dr. Scott-Emuakper is board certified in Hematology and Oncology by the American Board of Pediatrics, and is the recipient of a Lifetime Excellence Award from the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He has participated in Missionary Trips to Africa for seven years, and attributes his success to his determination to provide excellent patient care at all times. When he is not assisting his patients, Dr. Scott-Emuakper enjoys traveling and writing poetry.
