Michelle Hebert Dufrene is a Registered Nurse with 17 years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially medical/surgical nursing. She is currently serving patients within East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, Louisiana.
Michelle attended Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana, graduating with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2000. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to gain her Master of Science Degree in Nursing with a Nursing Education concentration in 2004 from Phoenix University. Additionally, she is Wound Care Certified.
To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in her field, Michelle maintains a professional membership with the American Nurses Association – Louisiana Chapter. She attributes her success to her persistence, providing high quality patient care, and her love of learning. When she is not assisting her patients, Michelle enjoys fitness, jogging, and going to the gym.
