Dr. Ferrara is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and he remains a professional member of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Intervention. He says that his success is attributed to his ability to connect with his patients, and when not working, Dr. Ferrara enjoys gardening, yard work, reading and traveling, as well as being a keen hockey fan.
