Reputable Registered Nurse Barbara A. Moyer, RN, MSN, EdD, BSN, will be Honorably Mentioned in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Barbara A. Moyer, RN, MSN, EdD, BSN, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Barbara A. Moyer is a  retired Registered Nurse with 53 years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing. When Barbara retired, she was an Assistant Professor at DeSales University teaching in the BSN and MSN program, and also a Healthcare Computer Course in the MBA Program.

Barbara received her initial Nursing Diploma from Allentown School of Nursing, followed by her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Cedar Crest College. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to earn her Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Villanova University and her Doctorate of Education from Lehigh University in the Foundations of Education.

At the beginning of Barbara’s career at DeSales, she was a Joint Appointment individual between Lehigh Valley Hospital Center in the Nursing Education Department and was on Faculty at DeSales University, a position she held for seven years. She later joined DeSales full time and continued to work as a part time float nurse at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center in all areas until her retirement. An inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Barbara attributes her success to her love for people and excellent communication skills. In her free time, Barbara acts as Music Director at her Church.
