The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Veronica Guieb Mitchell, RN, BSN, Registered Nurse to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Veronica Guieb Mitchell holds over three decades of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of her field, especially medical/surgical nursing, geriatrics, and quality assurance. Veronica is currently working for the Hawaii State Department of Health as a Supervisor and Medicare Certification Officer (MCO).
Veronica’s career in nursing began when she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Hawaii Pacific University (HPU). An advocate for continuing education, Veronica is currently pursuing her Master of Science Degree in Healthcare Leadership and Management with a projected graduation in 2017.
Veronica is an inductee of Sigma Theta Tau, and keeps up to date with the latest advances and developments in her field through her professional membership with the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and by reading the Journal of Nursing Management and the Journal of Healthcare Management. When she is not working, Veronica dedicates her free time to baking, collecting recipes, gardening, and taking care of her new grandson, Makoa.
