Sandra Merchant Nuber is a Registered Nurse, First Assistant working for All About Assisting in Conroe, Texas, and is also affiliated with St. Luke’s Woodlands Hospital and Conroe Regional Medical Center. With over 30 years of experience in nursing, she is a first assistant and surgical assistant, and a specialist in EMT and phlebotomy.
Sandra Merchant Nuber gained her First Assist License in 1986, after studying Surgical Technology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she was recognized with the Outstanding Student Award. In 2010, Sandra completed her Associate Degree of Applied Science in Nursing from the Lone Star College System in Texas, becoming a Certified Registered Nurse, First Assistant (CRNFA). Additionally, Sandra is a CNOR certified nurse.
Sandra keeps up to date with all the latest advances in her field through her professional membership with the Association of Surgical Assistants and the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses. She attributes her great success to the support of her teachers and mentors, and the passion she has for nursing and helping others. When she is not working, Sandra enjoys dancing.
