With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Lorene D. Verley, RN, BSN, WCC, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. She is a Registered Nurse with 30 years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially wound care and geriatric nursing. Lorene is currently serving patients at Maple Ridge Health & Rehab Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Lorene obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1986 from the University of Wisconsin. She holds additional Wound Care certification, and attributes her success in nursing to all of the people she has worked with over the years. She feels she has learned from every one of them, and also attributes her success to the support of her parents and her husband. When she is not assisting patients, Lorene enjoys hiking, and spending time with her grandchildren and her husband.
