Dr. Carolyn M. Drazinic received her Medical Degree in 1998 from the University of Florida College of Medicine, prior to completing her residency and then fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at Yale University. Additionally, Dr. Drazinic is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Miami’s Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine.
Dr. Drazinic holds triple board certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is recognized as an expert in forensic psychiatry, addiction neuropsychiatry, and in the treatment of Huntington’s Disease and Bipolar Disease. Dr. Drazinic maintains professional memberships with the American Psychiatric Association, the American Medical Association, and the American College of Physician Executives, and served as President of the Connecticut Psychiatric Society from 2013-2014. Dr. Drazinic attributes her success to the encouragement and support of her patients. When she is not working, Dr. Drazinic enjoys playing the piano.
