With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Meseret Asfaw Haile, RN, BSN, MS, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. She is a registered nurse with 15 years of experience in her field and extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially neuroscience, stroke, orthopedics, telemetry, oncology, geriatrics, health informatics, and medical/surgical nursing. Meseret is currently serving nursing students at Prince George’s Community College as a clinical instructor and on the neuroscience unit at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC, a role she embraced in 2014. Prior to her current employment, she worked as the Director of Clinical Education at Golden Living and Director of Care Delivery at ManorCare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Meseret attended Northern Virginia Community College in Springfield, Virginia, and received her Nursing Associate Degree, she obtained her Bachelor Degree of Science in Nursing at George Mason University School of Nursing. Meseret also holds a Master Degree of Science in Health Informatics, which she acquired from George Mason University School of Nursing in 2015. She credits her success to her passion for caring for people and dedicates her free time to family and church. Meseret also enjoys helping others and reading The American Journal of Nursing.
