Dr. Thaxton was educated at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and completed his internship and residency at Brooke Army Medical Center. He is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and remains a member of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Thaxton attributes his success to hard work and community service. When not assisting patients, he enjoys woodworking and playing soccer.
