Wisin premieres the hot new video for hit single “Que Viva La Vida” today on Primer Impacto starting at 5pm/4pm on Univision and online via Vevo. The energetic song was launched a few short weeks ago and is already in the Top 10 on Billboard’s “Latin Airplay” chart.
The video was filmed in the desert of Palmdale, California under the direction of renowned Hollywood Director Jessy Terrero. “Having filmed this video which is a huge celebration in the desert, alongside my brother Jessy Terrero has very significant and one of the first big steps of ‘El Sobreviviente’ – I know the fans will love it and ‘Que Viva La Vida’,” expressed an elated Wisin.
“Que Viva La Vida” is the first track off Wisin’s first solo album since 2004, El Regreso del Sobreviviente, which will be released under the Sony Music label. El Regreso del Sobreviviente is the album that Wisin had always wanted to record, a project with long-lasting influence that includes superstar collaborations with Pitbull, Chris Brown, Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez, Franco De Vita, Zion and Gocho.
Wisin, and his duo counterpart Yandel, are Coaches in the current season of “La Voz Mexico,” a show that is breaking ratings records in the country. Wisin & Yandel will be appearing soon in concert as part of their ongoing Wisin & Yandel tour through Texas: in Hidalgo (November 13), Laredo (November 22) and Austin (November 23); and Mexico: in Monterrey (November 14), Merida (December 13) and returning to the prestigious Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City on November 15th and 16th. The duo is nominated for a 2013 Latin GRAMMY for “Best Urban Album” for their latest joint production “LÍDERES.”
