Highly Respected Chief Nursing Officer, Michael Barbour, RN, MSN, CNO, will be Featured in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

Michael Barbour is a Registered Nurse and Chief Nursing Officer currently working within the Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital in Panama City, Florida. With more than three decades of experience in nursing, he is a specialist critical care nurse, nurse educator and administrator.

Michael Barbour’s career in nursing began in 1989 when he graduated with his Nursing Degree from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. An advocate for continuing education, he gained his Master of Science Degree in Nursing in 2001 within the same educational venue.

Michael has a wealth of experience in nursing, in increasingly senior positions, and was a Nurse of the Year winner in 2002. He attributes his success to his passion for nursing and for making a positive difference in the lives of others, as well as his love of teaching. When he is not working, Michael enjoys cooking, visits to the theater, and spending time with his family.
