The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Carrie Wynn, MSN, RN, ANP-BC, CCM, ONC, NY-SAFE to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Carrie Wynn is an established Nurse Practitioner with more than 18 years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially adult health, care management, palliative care, and as a sexual assault examiner. She is currently serving patients within NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City, and is also affiliated with New York University.
Carrie’s career in nursing began when she graduated from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to obtain her Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York. Since graduating, Carrie has completed a number of advanced training courses, and is also an Adult Nurse Practitioner- Board Certified, Certified Case Manager, Orthopaedic Nurse Certified, and Certified as a SAFE Provider.
To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in her field, Carrie maintains a professional membership with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Case Management Society of America, the NYU Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Advisory Council, and is also a member of the MGFA Nurses Advisory Board. She attributes her success to her faith and prayer, her Christian upbringing, and to the strong caring mentors she has had throughout her life and in her profession. When she is not assisting her patients, Carrie enjoys taking care of her four children, singing, art, gardening, and interior design.
