Simonson is an established Radiologist who continues to provide exceptional care and support to her patients within Cambria Somerset Radiology in Montgomery and Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She is also affiliated with Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Featuring over 16 years of experience in her field, Dr. Simonson is noted for her expertise in musculoskeletal radiology and orthopedic radiology.
Dr. Simonson attended the Medical College of Georgia, graduating with her Medical Degree in 2002. Following the completion of medical school, she completed her General Surgery internship at Boston University Medical Center, followed by her postdoctoral research fellowship at Harvard Medical School. Thereafter, Dr. Simonson undertook her Diagnostic Radiology residency and Musculoskeletal Radiology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Simonson is certified by the American Board of Radiology, and is committed to enhancing her patients’ quality of life.
Dr. Simonson remains a distinguished member of the American College of Radiology, and she is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society- Georgia Chapter. She is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions including the Society of Interventional Radiology Resident Scholarship, a Regents Opportunity Merit Scholarship, and the Peacock Family Award for Outstanding Performance in Gross Anatomy. Dr. Simonson attributes her success to her love and passion for her field, as well as the support of her family. In her free time, she enjoys painting, skiing, running half marathons and triathlons, and spending time with her family.
