The International Association of HealthCare Professionals is pleased to welcome Giselle Lorena Surrett, DC to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Dr. Giselle Lorena Surrett is an established Chiropractor currently serving patients within Quality Care Chiropractic, P.C. in Long Island City, New York. Featuring over three years of experience in her field, she is noted for her expertise in worker’s compensation cases and no fault accidents. With the use of chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue techniques including the use of RockTape for areas of pain, inflammation and poor circulation, Dr. Surrett is determined to restore patients back to their optimal health.
Dr. Surrett completed her Undergraduate Degree in Psychology in 2011 from Hofstra University. Pursuing a career in chiropractic medicine, she went on to attend New York Chiropractic College, obtaining her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 2014. Dr. Surrett is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, and is additionally certified in RockTape. To stay current with the latest advances in her field, she remains an active member of the American Chiropractic Association, NYS Workers Compensation Board, and the New York State Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Surrett has dedicated her life to providing quality chiropractic treatment to those in need of health care. She engaged in volunteer work in 2009, traveling overseas to Nicaragua with an organization called Bridges to Community to build homes for poor families. She enjoys helping those who are less fortunate, and feels fulfilled and energized seeing the impact she made in their lives. Dr. Surrett attributes her success to her family for providing her with support through her many years of schooling, and to the ideal instilled in her that material items have a lesser value than investing in yourself and your education. She continues in spreading that message through her participation in Career Day activities, hoping to guide school-aged children into pursuing fulfilling careers and investing in themselves. When she is not assisting patients, Dr. Surrett enjoys kickboxing and traveling.
