Pamela Karakusis is an established Registered Nurse currently serving patients as Clinical Nurse Coordinator within the Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado. Featuring over four years of experience, she has a special expertise in critical care nursing.
Pamela’s acclaimed career in nursing began in 2013, when she graduated with her Nursing Degree from the University of Colorado School of Nursing. An advocate for continuing education, she remained at the University of Colorado, earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing Summa Cum Laude in 2014. Since graduating, Pamela has completed a number of advanced training courses, and holds additional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and as a Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse.
Pamela has gained experience in many areas of nursing including medical/surgical nursing and neurotrauma care, and has already earned a number of awards including an Employee of the Month Award and two Academic Excellence awards. She is a professional member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses and the American Heart Association, and attributes her success to her love of nursing and passion for helping people. When she is not working, Pamela is an accomplished practitioner of the martial art Jiu Jitsu.
