Shannon D. Wickert is an established Registered Nurse currently serving patients within Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington. Featuring over two decades of experience in nursing, she is a specialist obstetrics and gynecology nurse.
Shannon gained her Nursing Degree in 1993 from Yavapai College in Prescott, Arizona, becoming a Registered Nurse. An advocate for continuing education, she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2017 from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah. Shannon holds additional certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program, and is also a Certified Lactation Counselor.
Shannon is a Registered Nurse Certified in Inpatient Obstetrics, and is a distinguished member of many professional organizations including the American Nurses Association, the Washington State Nurses Association, and the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses. She attributes her success to her passion for helping others, and when she is not working, Shannon enjoys photography and crafts, especially sewing and painting.
