Akubure Uzoije is a Registered Nurse currently serving as President of Home Health Services and Director of Nursing within Better Living Home Healthcare Services in Harleysville, Pennsylvania. With over a decade of experience in nursing, she is specializes in medical/surgical, neurology and orthopedics nursing, and is also an expert in trauma care.
Akubure Uzoije gained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2004, becoming a Registered Nurse. She previously earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology from the University of Uyo in Nigeria, and is currently studying for her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree at Temple University Graduate School in Philadelphia.
Akubure has experience in many areas of nursing in increasingly senior positions, and she is also affiliated to Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia. She attributes her success to her experience and versatility, as well as her enthusiasm for making her patients feel better. When she is not working, Akubure enjoys singing, listening to music, and cooking.
