With more than a decade of experience in nursing, she is a specialist correctional nurse, legal nurse consultant, and PACU nurse.
Melissa A. Rogers gained her Associate’s Degree in Nursing in 2006 from Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas, becoming a Registered Nurse. An advocate for continuing education, she later gained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, followed by pursuing her Master of Science Degree in Nursing from the Chamberlain College of Nursing. Melissa holds additional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and is also EKG Certified.
Melissa has experience in many areas of nursing, and is now renowned as an expert legal nurse consultant and as a critical care specialist and correctional nurse. To keep up to date with the latest advances in her field, she maintains a professional membership with the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants. Melissa attributes her success to the support of her family, friends and colleagues, and her love of education. When not working, Melissa enjoys reading, biking with her husband, watching movies, and cross country skiing.
